Quassia Wood Chips are often used for fevers and the treatment of digestive problems. Small amounts of Quassia stimulate the flow of gastric juices as well as liver and gall bladder activity and stimulates appetite and aids in digestion especially in cases of dyspepsia.

Uses:

Quassia may be of use for dyspeptic conditions due to lack of tone. May be used in all cases of lack of appetite such as anorexia nervosa and digestive sluggishness. May be used as a tonic. Quassia may be used in the expulsion of threadworms as an infusion. Can be used as a lotion for lice infestations.

 

Directions to use:

Cold infusion: ½ - 1 teaspoon of the wood is left in a cup of cold water to steep overnight. Drink three times per day.

Do not use if pregnant or lactating.
